- A10 Dysentry Drops in indicated in infection of the intestines that results in severe diarrhoea with the presence of blood and mucus in the faeces.
Composition of Allen A10 Dysentry Drops
- Nux Vomica 3x
- Aloe Socotrina 3x
- Colocynthis 3x
- Mercurius Cor. 3x
- Colchicum Autumnale Q
- Holarrhena Antidysentrica Q in aqua destillata
Dosage of Allen A10 Dysentry Drops
- Take 8 to 10 drops in half-cup of water, 3 times a day.
Mode of Action:
- Nux Vomica: Stools contain much mucus. There are abdominal pains before stools and these are relieved after stools.
- Aloe Socotrina: Stools contain a lot of mucus or are jelly like. There is burning and pain in the rectum after stools. Insecurity of rectum. Patient is afraid of passing flatus as he is not sure whether the urge is for stool or flatus. Bleeding from the rectum.
- Colocynthis: Brown, watery stools after eating or drinking. Jelly like stools with musk like odour. Pain in the abdomen.
- Mercurius Corrosives: Tenesmus of rectum, not by stool. Tenesmus is incessant, persistent. Stools – hot, scanty, bloody, slimy, offensive with shreds of mucus membrane. Terrible cutting, colicky pains. Chilly after stools. Spasms of rectum during coition. Soreness especially along transverse colon. Cramps in calves in Dysentery. Sweating before and after stool. Constant urging to stool and urine.
- Colchicum Autumnale: Autumnal Dysentery – painful scanty, transparent, jelly like mucus, scraping of intestines. Agonizing pain long after stools.
- Holarrhena Antidysenterica: It is considered as a good remedy for chronic Diarrhoea. It is very effective in removing the amoeba from the body.
