Composition of Alpha Tons (Tonsilitis)

Each tablet of 250 mg contains:

Atropinum sulphuricum 3x 12.5 mg: Throat red and inflammed with difficulty in swallowing. Burning accompanied with dryness of throat.

Hepar sulphur 3x 10 mg: It helps to check the tendency to sore throat and throbbing pain in the throat. Sensation of a plug or a splinter in the throat while swallowing. Patient perspires though feeling chilly.

Kalium bichromicum 3x 50 mg: Stringy discharges, fauces red and inflammed, Dry and rough feeling in the throat.

Mercurius biiodatus 8x 25 mg: It is an excellent general remedy for tonsillitis, when there is inflammation and pain in the tonsils, worse right tonsil.

Silicea 2x 5 mg: Injury that suppurates and pus formation on tonsils. Pain while swallowing.

Direction of use of Alpha Tons (Tonsilitis)

Dosage: Unless otherwise prescribed by the physician, 1-2 tablets every hour in acute conditions. As the symptoms improve, 1-2 tablets every 3 hourly. If symptoms do not improve, see your physician.
